The fabric of this garment is crafted from [80% wool] and features a [950g woolen fabric weight]. The wool used is entirely sourced from newly shorn wool of the current year for spinning and weaving the胚布 (base fabric). The fabric is custom-dyed according to the Y-version color sample for bulk production.
Compared to recycled wool fabric, newly shorn wool as a raw material is first and foremost free from harmful gases such as formaldehyde and unpleasant odors. Secondly, the yarn does not contain colored fiber impurities, resulting in a fabric胚布 that is devoid of defects such as yarn breaks or knots. During dyeing, no color enhancers or viscosifiers are added to the dye bath, ensuring a natural color match to the Y-version sample.
Recycled wool fabrics are made from shredded and melted-down wool materials, producing short fibers. In contrast, newly shorn wool is a natural long fiber with superior yarn strength. After custom dyeing the fabric, a brushing process is applied, followed by [5 brushings and 6 washes] to trim the fluffy surface hairs evenly. The fabric surface then exhibits a [hollow, three-dimensional, and fluffy appearance], with a noticeable elasticity when touched or pressed. This 1:1 effect with the Y-version cannot be achieved with short fiber yarn or fabrics with lower wool content.
The embossed logos on the front right and left sleeve are crafted from [water-dyed cowhide leather] with a [coffee-colored base], and feature [hand-printed white flowers using water-soluble screen printing ink on a flatbed press]. The embossing process utilizes [printing film to create hardened molds], with [electric oil pressure control systems] for [constant temperature and timed automated operations]. Stone wool materials are used for filling, followed by stamping to produce semi-finished logos, which are then [embroidered with wide stitching on a flat embroidery machine].
The embroidered logo on the back is created using a [Japanese-imported Tajima towel embroidery machine] with [26s/2 wool blended yarn at 30%], layered with [two layers of non-woven fabric]. It features [three-dimensional towel embroidery combined with flat embroidery for a wide, rounded border], along with a [laser-cut non-woven fabric with a hollowed-out effect]. Subsequent [manual fine-tuning of corners and edges] ensures that the seam allowances are trimmed to the minimum, achieving perfect alignment with the original version in width.
The sleeves are made of [genuine cowhide leather] in dual colors, using [white leather hides] sourced from [premium calfskin] that is [smooth and free from defects]. Defective hides would result in amplified imperfections after embossing, compromising both appearance and quality. [Stainless steel embossing rollers] are used for embossing, with joint marks considered as waste material, increasing costs. The [roller embossing and shading process] involves [electric machines with adjustable temperature and pressure settings], tested multiple times to ensure that the embossed pattern does not flatten out and that the gray paint design is applied evenly during embossing. The final leather material is then [dried in a constant temperature and humidity tunnel oven].
The sleeve logos are embroidered using a [Japanese-imported Tajima towel embroidery machine] with [small towel embroidery and flat embroidery techniques using wool yarn], followed by [manual trimming of edges] to produce finished logos.
The ribbing is made of [30% wool + 70% cotton yarn], woven on a [Taiwan-imported horizontal extended loom] with double yarn interlocking. It is paired with [cuprammonium rayon + cotton blended lining], and features [custom aluminum alloy four-pronged buttons with a logo and bright lacquer finish]. The button bases perfectly match the version height, and a [white gold-colored brass chain] is hung on the back neck.
